All prepared by Chef Mark Ellman, who along with Roy Yamaguchi, Sam Choy, Peter Merriman, and Alan Wong, founded Hawaiian Regional Cuisine. Ownership includes Clint Eastwood, Alice Cooper, Don Nelson, and Jim Wiatt, and has helped to make it Maui’s place to see the stars.

Chef Mark Ellman of Avalon fame and Chef/Owner of Maui Tacos, who also owns the original Mala Ocean Tavern in Lahaina, has joined forces with his long time partner Shep Gordon and opened a South side outpost of Mala, located at the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort and Spa Overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the Islands of Lanai and Kaho`olawe. Their delightful restaurant offers stunning sunset vistas over the Pacific - every seat has an ocean view. Mark is pleased to continue the Mala tradition of making great food organic, healthy, fresh, and delicious. All prepared by Chef Mark Ellman, who along with Roy Yamaguchi, Sam Choy, Peter Merriman, and Alan Wong, founded Hawaiian Regional Cuisine. With an authentic menu of Mediterranean and Pacific Rim cuisine, their award winning beautifully crafted dishes will please the palates of your most revered guests.
