The Tropical Plantation is located in Waikapu, in
the the heart of Maui off
Hwy. 30. It is a real working plantation with 112 acres of planted
fields, nurseries, a market, and a restaurant. There is a tram
tour that takes visitors on an excursion through fields of sugar cane,
pineapple, coffee, papaya, banana, macadamia nuts, and exotic tropical
flowers. Weddings are performed
in a quaint garden gazebo next to a beautiful lake surrounded by
tropical plants, coconut trees, and manicured lawns. The fee for
the grounds and gazebo is $450.00 for two hours. For more
