There are numerous beaches on Maui, but the
beaches on the east side
have the ruggedness, that is not found on the rest of Maui. The
black sand beach is called Wainapanapa Beach. You then have Hamoa
Beach, which has been named the worlds most beautiful beach by "Conde
Naste Traveller" a number of times. Mark Twain was also
quoted as saying this was one of my "favorite spots on
earth". The third beach is called Koki Beach. Their is also
the stunning red sand beach.
